Marion Design
The summer after my freshman year, I lived and worked in Marion, Alabama for eight weeks as an intern at Main Street Marion, a nonprofit dedicated to creating jobs in the rural Black Belt town while maintaining its character. On campus, I work as an intern for 57 Miles, a University of Alabama program that has sought to partner with the town on various service projects.
